As the title says, whenever I try to play, my game stops loading, black screen, freezed and Steam client crashes. Have to kill ETS2. This is happening after latest Steam upgrade, was fine until a few minutes ago.

Go to "C:\Users\your username\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" and open "game.log.txt" (NOT game.crash.txt), then post it to pastebin.com (split if too big) then post the link to that page here. Simple Google search would have given you the answer.

Move your profiles to another directory and move promods out the mods directory. Start the game from scratch (takes 5minutes) and create save with a "brand new profile". Restart the game and resave.
